Mandarin Sky: A Delightful Chinese Dining Experience in Quezon City

Food was really good. I really loved the Prawn with Cornflakes, Fried Rice and Stir Fried Beef. However, if you plan on eating here at peak hours such as dinner time, expect to wait in line to secure a table, as well as expect your waiting time for food to be served at more than 1 hour. Price of food is also high. For a family like ours na hindi matakaw kumain, we ordered small servings lang except for the rice na large.

Food is good. Particularly enjoyed the champagne spareribs. The flavor was great. The cold cuts were also okay but not exactly the best. The asado could benefit from a little more flavor. The lapulapu was fresh and had a clean taste. We dined in the private room which was well air conditioned. Service could be a little faster but generally acceptable. Parking was also quite convenient as they allow parking on the front and on the side of the restaurant.

Mandarin Sky is full when we arrived. Had to wait a few to be seated on the second level. The waiter suggested some dishes and his service is quite good. Started with pork and shrimp siomai. They are delicious! The shrimps are very fresh. Also the steamed grouper. The crab was a bit dry but its good. The sampler was great with the hoisin sauce. The deep fried oyster with XO sauce is awesome.

Mandarin Sky was excellent. From the start, I appreciated that they served some aromatic jasmine tea which was a step above house tea, not watered down like in many places. We ordered quite a bit: Hot and Sour Soup, Sweet and Sour Pork, Polonchai with two kinds of egg, Prawns with Walnuts, Abalone with Mushroom, Lapu-Lapu, Fried Squid, and Seafood Rolls. The Hot and Sour Soup stood out with its balanced and layered flavor. The vegetables in the Polonchai were fresh and crunchy. Service was quick and efficient, and the ambiance is well-decorated and distinct from the usual traditional Chinese restaurants that treat interiors as an afterthought. Overall, a solid dining experience that I’d gladly return to. Highly recommend, value for money too!

We had a wonderful family dinner here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot — especially the seafood and beef dishes. Everyone in the family found something they loved, from the dim sum to the squid . The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The portions were generous, perfect for sharing. The place can get busy during dinner time, but the service stayed consistent and efficient. Overall, a great spot for family gatherings and celebrations — good food, good service, and a lively atmosphere. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area!

Absolutely loved their food. Great selection of Chinese food with caring servers. Went here last and it seems like a favorite hangout place for senior citizens after their basketball game. Did I mention that you can also drink liquor here? Only drawback I can think of is it tends to get noisy. Commendable waiters also.
